Since the controversial "retirement" of the MEFL commissioner, and the league finally going to an unbiased third party ranking system, the Texans are #1! In Houston this wasn't a surprise but now the rest of the MEFL fans can start to appreciate the hard nose defense, and concise offense, that other teams should envy.

With the Texans and Titans both getting wins in week 16, the stage is set for a week 17 showdown between the two teams that will decide who moves on to the playoffs and who gets to start booking tee times. It was a rough two weeks for the Titans. After coming off the bye week, the Titans were 6-1 and tops in the power ranks, but two straight losses to the Rams and the Jags put the Titans at 6-3. And while they had a two game lead in the division still, nothing can be taken for granted. However, the Titans hope to get back to the winning ways and it started this week as they beat the Colts.
