Scouting Reports

Offense:  Very, very patient.  Literally runs a West Coast offense.  Short passes, all different types of runs...loves the ISO.  I had around 5 or 6 passes go right through my defenders hands which pissed me off big time.

Defense:  Again, very patient. Doesn't blitz a lot, picks his spots.  Plays 2 deep a you're forced to run the ball.  I only had 8 pass attempts in the game because of the two deep look he was giving me and his controlling of the clock.

Offense- does not run as much as in regular because he doesn't have Marshawn Lynch to ram it down. Likes outside tosses. If there's a fullback to the side it's probably going to that side but will throw in a counter once in a while to stop from being stale. Likes the hb screen on 2nd and long. Cover the middle cross routes and out routes typically to the wider side of the field. Likes the slot particularly. His receivers have bad release, use press coverage to your advantage.

Defense- very good at mixing it. Blitzes sporadically but disguises blitzes very well or fakes them. Look...

Offense - Started out with a lot of AP runs. Mixture of inside and outside runs, he did fall behind early which caused him to switch to the pass. So-So with the pass, did try to force some passes for picks. Loved the seem to the tight end was a good zone beater against me. He also tested the deep ball a few times (and was successful). I had some success with pressure, few sacks and rushed throws.

Defense - Believed it was a mostly zone defense, outside runs and curls are there all day. Over the middle crossers worked for when he went man, was also able to get one deep one passed his...

Comes out in Pistol on 90-95 percent of his offensive sets. The rest of the time was usually 3-4 wide with moreno in the sidecar. About 3-4 times I noticed he will flip the play before he gets his offense set.

Likes to run the read option about 10-15 times a game and keeps it about half the time. I was able to get him once when he pitched while moreno was being tackled. Resulted in a Fumble return for a TD.

In the air I saw about 3-4 different routes he prefers to use.

#1 Comeback/Curl
#2 Corner with the tight end out of bunch sets

outstanding game was played!

tendencies: if you see a 4 WR set 80% chance its a run play. (WHO YOU FOOLIN'? ) actually its quite effective I couldnt bring myself to run commit even though I knew it was a run, lol. When the play really mattered it was to Dez Bryant ( no shock ) but I did notice a few curls to him, this could be his goto play.

on D he is a straight up player, mixes man and zone, has a real knack for guessing you play. It cant be scouting and hard work, cuz he's a college kid, and was probably high during our game. so I chalk up the great play calling to luck,...

Offense- Watch where the RB's are lined up. If it looks like he's in pistol you have to account for a read option. Auto or manually commit to the quarterback and try to guess where the running back would get it on a handoff with line and linebacker shifts. When he's passing the post, curls, inside/outside or crossing routes are usually the ones to key in on. Jordan Cameron will kill you with posts. Defend him with buzz routes or manually controlling a guy where his route will probably go. Sometimes a runningback will be lined up as a wide receiver. If this happens shift to the opposite...

Very very good SIM player.  Mixes up plays very well.  Only time he didn't was early in the game as he got off a bunch of 3 steps and kept hitting me on the sidelines.  Once I adjusted to it he then did the same.

Offense:  Very good runner with Reggie Bush, inside and out.  Most effective from Pistol because the threat with Wilson is always there.  Probably could have taken advantage of Wilson's legs more.  Good quick passer on the 3 steps.  Reads the defense pre snap and has his man.  One thing I'd say it once he gets his progressions down on the 7 step passes....he's gonna be deadly.

Jets narrowly escape with a 24-21 win....probably should've lost this one.

1. He is an EXCELLENT sim player
2. talented
3. once he combines those 2 perfectly he will be unbelievable.

1. Runs the ball in a variety of different ways. Very good user runnig skills with CJ.
2. His best talent is his ability to pass. Makes smart decisions every time he throws the ball. Never forces it in. Hit me on deep ball early in the game which was beautiful. My defense was tight along with my usered safety. Did that right away which most times u must do against good defenses...

i know im new to the league and not the best at the game but i played the vikings today and he showed terrible sportsmanship. he blitz almost every play and did no huddle through out the game even when he was up 24 points. i even punted with 4 mins. left in the fouth quarter when i was down by 24 and he kept running no huddles and running up the score. i lost the game like 70 to 40. i even ran the ball at the end of the quarter to get the game over with. the last two games i played was against very good players and they didnt do any of that. i just wanted to know what to league thinks of this?
