Skins Stun Chiefs
The stunner of the week was LordDeniki's Redskins beating the 10-2 Chiefs 31-26 in Washington. While we know Lord_Deniki can beat anybody, to see him take a 5-7 team over and beat one of the hottest teams in the league in his first game is truly remarkable. Josh Freeman led the way for the Skins as he had perfect QB rating of 157.2 on the day. On the ground, little known Joseph Randle had a breakthrough day rushing for 129 yards and a TD on 17 carries. Both teams played pretty clean as they took care of the ball, and both had similar offensive outputs, it just seems as though it came down to the team who had the ball last or could manage that last crucial stop in the 4th Quarter.
Falcons Win Game of the Week
There is absolutely no love lost between these 2 owners, and this past Sunday night proved that out. The Atlanta Falcons went into hostile Green Bay and came away with the 38-14 victory. Sitting at 12-1, the Falcons now have essentially a 2.5 games lead over the 10-3 Packers for home field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. Although MVP front-runner Sam Bradford lead his team to victory, he sure didn't light it up on Sunday Night. He finished with only 153 yards through the air on only 14 pass attempts. DeMarco Murry contributed with 87 yards on the ground and Megatron caught 3 passes for 119 yards and a score. The star unit of the day was the Atlanta Defense as they limited the Pack to only 2 TD's on the day and forced 4 Joe Flacco INT's.
J_Bell12 Plays It Right
In a time in Madden where so many guys only care about winning, and winning anyway they can, I'm positive I'm not the only one to realize that Patriots owner J_Bell12 plays this game the right way day in and day out. Although his record is not where he wants it to be, we've all come to know him as one of the top SIM and Great Owners of this group. Integrity is much more important to him than W's and you get reminded of that every time you play him. The season in New England is not all lost either as he's built up some valuable experience for a lot of his younger players, especially QB E.J. Manuel, who currently leads the AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year Race.
