Colts Beat Jags, Take AFC South
The Colts welcomed in the Jags this weekend for the rights to the AFC South Division Championship, and walked away with an impressive win. The final score of 38-17 proved what we knew about this team all season long which is they are a force to be reckoned with. Finishing at 11-5 on the season, they jumped the 11-5 Jags in their division on the strength of a season series sweep over their rival. Hold on though because the football gods won't let this rivalry die just yet in 2013 as they will play their 3rd game this season in the Wild Card Round of the Playoffs in Indianapolis.
Chiefs Enjoy Success
The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up a very impressive 2013 season this past Sunday as they knocked off the Chargers in San Diego. They improved to 13-3 and secured a 1st Round BYE in the AFC. Colin Kaepernick was his usual dual threat self as he passed for 199 though the air and rushed for 75 yards as well. The Chiefs will sit back and relax during the 1st Round of the playoffs until Round 2 where I'm sure the Kansas City faithful will be rocking.
McCoy Named 2013 MVP
The Houston Texans finished at 8-8 this season in what was arguably the toughest division in the NFL this season. Although they missed the playoffs, they did many positive things. The most being Lesean McCoy being named the 2013 NFL MVP. McCoy finished with an NFL record 2,287 rushing yards and an amazing 26 TD's. He was there all year helping his team each weekend and will look to build off of his success for next season.
