Bears don't have much speed, more just smart players. Douglas gives a burner like they lost with Holiday, but one whose actually useful on offense. Ideally he'll become the new slot receiver and take over for Miles Austin. Could see time returning depending on how offseason goes.

Logic is- Giants want a top returner.
Bears tends to not do well with Holliday to properly utilize him and sees him as expendable. I would rather have the roster spot that I'll create with a corresponding move for a receiver who can contribute if somebody goes down. I want Sam as a project de who may see some time as a 3-4 olb because he's a tweener. May ask to convert and possibly eventually even take over for Coples...
