Indianapolis Colts: Rebirth By Fire? Empty Indianapolis Colts: Rebirth By Fire?

    Post by Helldawg66

Colts owner Jim Irsay finally became fed up with the futility presented by the team for the first half of the year and over the team's bye week it appears he made a deal with the Devil. With 66 taking over football operations the Colts seem to be in better hands. Against a formidable Texans team the Colts posted easily their best defensive game of the season holding the team to under 200 yards of total offense, with less than 100 passing yards. Embattled quarterback Tom Brady had arguably the best game of the season, despite only throwing for 130 yards. He missed just one pass and managed to complete a full game without raising his ghastly interception totals past the 22 that he already has this season.

Owner Jim Irsay made it clearer than his need for a better taste in music that the he expects the team to continue an upward trend. Though the loss of Greg Jennings for the next 2-4 weeks due to an elbow dislocation doesn't aid the team, the team remains encouraged by Brady's progress, as well as a shift in coaching style that relied on the ground and pound style that the team may actually be better suited to run.

When pushed for comment in regards to if he really did travel the depths of hell and sell his soul to the devil of "Helldawg66" Irsay actually DID confirm the news the way he usually does anything, by reciting country music: "I fell into a burning ring of fire. I went down, down, down as the flames went higher and it burns, burns, burns. The ring of fire."
