NFC East Loads Up
While both the Giants and Redskins have zero chance to get into the playoffs during the 2013 season, it doesn't mean they won't be making any noise the rest of the season. 2 Classic MXLF owners have recently took over these 2 Franchises. Tampamountaineer has taken over the Giants and LordDeniki the Redskins. Both these guys are known for their very solid SIM play and rarely are ever out of the game. Think about this division now for a second, Athlete, Cabbage, Mountaineer and Deniki. My oh my. Watch out folks, these 2 storied franchises will play spoiler the rest of the way.
Cowboys Win Another One
Athlete_2 and the Dallas Cowboys win another game to move to 8-4 in the Division as they keep pace with those pesky Eagles who will not go away and also sit at 8-4. In this one they knocked off Optimus and the Raiders by the score of 27-24. The game seemed to be tight though out and the statistical output also came out pretty even on both sides. I think this one just came down a flip of the coin. NFC Offensive Rookie of the Year leader Geno Smith had a solid game throwing for 267 Yards and 2 TD's. Philip Rivers also threw close to 250 yards and 3 TD's but didn't do the same damage that Geno did on the ground. Dallas had it's option game working as Geno went for 68 on 7 carries which seemed to be the difference in this one.
Ben Watson Leads All TE's
In a lost season for the Denver Broncos, the one huge bright spot has been TE Ben Watson. The old man right now is the front runner for the NFL All Pro Team at the TE position. Despite the Bronco's record, BHolland who took over a few games into the season, has done a great job in building something for the future. Watson currently has 848 yards and 7 TD's on 83 catches.
