SCHEDULING / BROADCASTING GAMES GUIDELINES Empty SCHEDULING / BROADCASTING GAMES GUIDELINES

    Post by chrebet1024

    Advance Schedule

--MEFL will be Advanced the following days:
    Sunday at 10 pm et
    Tuesday at 10 pm et
    Thursday at 10 pm et
***These advances are HARD advances.  They will NEVER be held up for anybody, including the commishes.  Reason is we want guys to schedule games for right AT ADVANCE so games get done quicker.

*Games are REQUIRED to be started at least 2 hours BEFORE ADVANCE.

*Early advances will happen if all games are completed
*An advance will RARELY be late, so when scheduling games realize that you CAN schedule at 10 pm et of new advance period.
*NO Super Simming unless approved by commish

    Scheduling Games
--Weekly Match-up Threads will be created for the next set of games at the latest on the day prior to advance, meaning you have plenty of time to post your availability.  Need to be specific in your post, asking "when can you play" is not acceptable.
BE SPECIFIC and nail down a TIME to play ASAP.  This is always the best way to go.  The Commishes will NOT chase down guys to play, if your game doesn't finish by 10 pm et on advance day, we will advance UNLESS COMMISH IS NOTIFIED and arrangements are made.

--Realize this, the NIGHT OF advance and the DAY AFTER advance ARE THE ACTION DAYS.  We want games to happen ASAP.  Very RARELY should games be played on the last day of period.

--You can schedule your games any way you'd like, BUT the "Weekly Matchup Threads" will be the ONLY evidence the commish will look at when determining who is MORE AT FAULT when a game is simmed, or a team needs to go on Auto-Pilot.  So the best way to go about it is to POST ASAP, and be specific when describing your AVAILABILITY.

***If you do NOT post your availability within 24 hours of the start of the new advance period....then your opponent will play the CPU if he comes to the commish asking for that to happen.  This is of course only if the player requesting the CPU game DID post on the weekly matchup thread, posting his availability.

--Your Reputation will ALSO be factored into who is at fault should a game be in danger of not being played.

    Sending Invite
The HOME TEAM is responsible for sending the invite out on the game.  That means they enter the "Game Room" first.  This will eliminate any players having that "feeling" that the guy who HOSTS the game experiences more lag.

    Team Jersey Colors
In every game the home team must wear their colored jerseys and the road team their white Jerseys.  The only exception by default is the COWBOYS in which they wear their Home White and the Road Team must wear their Colored Jersey.
***Of course if the Home Team wants to change it up and wear their White's at home, they MUST Notify the Road team about this so they can be told to wear their Colored Jerseys.

    Missed and/or Sim Games

--If at any point in 1 Season you accrued 3 missed and/or Sim games, you will be removed from MEFL.

    Twitch / Broadcasting Games

BOTH TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO BROADCAST THE GAME.

*You MUST have the "Automatically Archive Past Broadcast" box CHECKED on your Twitch Profile for Archiving to work.  Making sure this option is working is MANDATORY!!!

*If there are connectivity issues, the Home Team may drop the broadcast.  Remember though, broadcasting is beneficial to use the "Archiving" or "Highlight" feature Twitch has to call out your opponent if he is breaking the rules.  If there still are connectivity issues, both teams may drop the broadcast, BUT MUST let a commish know you are doing so.

    Guidelines
    1. Posting Game Start Time on Forum is Optional.  The Game Start Time Section will always be there if guys wanna post, and Playoff Games could be mandatory (based on the season).
--With Twitch, everybody has the option to "Follow" others which will notify you via email when a game is starting.  Use this feature if you'd like to watch live games.  If not, then you always have the archived feature at your disposal.

    2. EVERY GAME MUST BE SHARED TO TWITCH.  This responsibility to BROADCAST is up to both teams of every game.  Be careful with the QUALITY SETTING though.  Low or Medium is a good setting to use UNLESS you know you have excellent internet connection in which case you can up it to High or even HD.  It literally takes 20 seconds to do, by hitting the SHARE BUTTON on the controller, and BROADCASTING the game through TWITCH.  If an owner cannot broadcast for some reason, they MUST LET THE COMMISH KNOW VIA TEXT.

    3. TITLE your Channel like this:
    Example:  MEFL - chrebet1024
    (League name and username)
Whether its Ustream or Twitch, if you go to the service websites and want to watch a game, searching by Username will always be good enough.  Or simply go to MEFL TV to view games.
*You can always FOLLOW others broadcasts as it will notify you through email when a game goes live.

    4. Make Sure you keep your Twitch User Name THE SAME AS YOUR PSN NAME.  If it is taken, then use something similar.
***Also you will want to UN-CHECK the "Display Comments" box on your PS4 in the share settings.  This will keep you at a full screen while playing.

    5. ALL CPU Games MUST be broadcasted, and must have a GAME START TIME ANNOUNCED.

    Recording/Archiving Games
Games will be recorded by enabling archiving broadcasting like mentioned above. Recordings will be stored in Past Broadcasts. This will save film for 14 days.

Here is how you do it:

    Sharing Pics and Videos
***Share Pics by sending them to your Twitter, then Re-Tweeting to @EliteLeaguesPS4 ***Share Videos by sending them to your Facebook, then Re-Sharing to Elite Leagues Facebook Page, Link found on MEFL TV section of website.
