Al Davis Rolling In His Grave
This past Sunday was an AFC West Classic Match-Up that the Late Raider's Owner Al Davis ALWAYS looked forward too. Well after Sunday ended, most realized that its a good thing he's gone now, because what he would have seen would have made him loopy. The undefeated Raiders, #1 in the Power Rankings, went into Kansas City and lost by the score of 31-24. This weekend saw the only 2 undefeated teams in the NFL both falling in defeat as the Steelers lost to the Jets as well. The story of the Raider / Chief game however was turnovers. While the Chiefs did turn the ball over 2 times, the Raiders had a ridiculous 6 turnovers which they couldn't recover from. Raider QB Mike "The Giraffe" Glennon threw 6 Interceptions and only 1 TD.
Stallion's Bucs Shock Eagles
Stallion504 led his Bucs to a much needed and deserved victory to improve their record to 2-3. This win keeps them within shouting distance of the NFC South leading Saints. Burntcabbage could not stop RG3 and the Bucs offense all game long as they put up a total of 384 yards. Rumors have it that the Bucs and Lions are in serious discussions for DT Suh. If this trade does happen, watch out folks, as Tampa Bay could be a serious contender in the NFC this season.
Titan Strong
The AFC South has been a division of strength so far this season as tcmagic97 and the Titans improved to 5-1 and TitanBrian33 and the Texans improve to 4-2 after defeating a talented Rams team by the score of 19-10. It was defensive battle all game as neither offense could really get things going. The difference once again came down to the turnover battle as it usually does. The Texans forced 3 while the Rams only 1.
