Music City Miracle?
With the Texans and Titans both getting wins in week 16, the stage is set for a week 17 showdown between the two teams that will decide who moves on to the playoffs and who gets to start booking tee times. For the Titans, they have been slumping since the bye week, and there has been a revolving door of QB's, but they got a win last week against the Jag's and have a little momentum. The Titans have been plagued with injuries this year as two key offensive playmakers, Randall Cobb and Rob Gronkowski, have both been out for extended periods of time. However, all the key players are healthy going into week 17. However, the coach has decided to roll with new free agent signee Shaun Hill in the big matchup. It is a risky play but given the awful play of the QB's lately, it doesn't hurt to give him a shot. Meanwhile LeSean McCoy has been the workhorse lately, racking up tons of carries and gaining tons of yards as well. He will need to carry the Titans for one more week to get them into the playoffs. For the Texans, they have certainly taken advantage of the Titan's slump and have put together a magnificent run lately to put themselves in this situation. They want to avenge their week 2 loss to the Titans and get that AFC South crown. With a key win against a red hot Broncos squad, the Texans have momentum going into the big matchup. It seems like the Texans have been functioning just fine since the blockbuster trade that sent AP to the Cards and JJ Swatt to the Texans. Can Josh Johnson lead the team to the division crown? With both teams sitting at 8-7, only one can get the division. Find out in week 17!

The Dirty South
Week 17 will decide the NFC South as both the Falcons and Saints are still in the running. With both teams at 8-7 the Falcons will host the Panthers as the Saints will host the Bucs. Because the 2 teams split the season series should a tie happen it will come down to divisional record and then common games. Saints QB Joe Flacco sure hopes that won't be the case though.
